Why Khris Middleton May Want Out of Milwaukee

We all know if the bucks don’t win it this year Giannis may decline the Supermax Contract and leave. If you don’t know what a Supermax is, I’ll tell you. There are certain requirements to offer a player a supermax, find them here. If you want to know about the Supermax Contract and why he may decline it, watch this video here.  But anyway, that aside, the Bucks second in command, All-Star Khris Middleton, may want out, too. He is going to be a free agent this year, sources told me.

Stats: (Points/Rebounds/Assists)

Per 36 Min stats for Middleton

 + Giannis: 21/7/5

 – Giannis: 31/8/6

With Giannis, our sample size is a good 1100 minutes, and without, 800. So it is a healthy sample size. As you can see here, Middleton does A HECK LOT better without Giannis on the court, per 36 minutes.

Per 36 Bucks Teammates

+ Giannis + Middleton

Lopez: 12/6/2

Bledsoe: 16/6/6

 -Giannis, + Middleton

Lopez: 20/6/2

Bledsoe: 24/7/7

+Giannis, -Middleton

Lopez: 15/8/1

Bledsoe: 14/6/7

So, to sum that up, they all do about their average numbers with them both on, just Bledsoe is getting about 1 more point, 1 and a half more rebounds, and a half more assists, while Lopez is doing just about average but with just 1 more rebound. I mean this is understandable, they are the third and fourth scoring option. Without Middleton and just Giannis they play just about as good as when both stars are on the floor. With just Middleton and no Giannis, Lopez and Bledsoe play at ALL-STAR LEVEL. And, as you already saw, Middleton plays with MVP-like numbers per 36 minutes without Giannis on the floor. Big yikes.

So as you can see that’s clearly better. So Middleton’s stats are Luka/Harden level when Giannis sits. And the other support guys (Bledsoe, Lopez) score a bunch more with Middleton instead of Giannis.

But it gets even grosser in the eight playoff games they’ve played.

Giannis: +2 on, +1.5 off

Middleton: +10 on, -15 off

I didn’t miss a decimal place. With Giannis on, they are getting a +2 Points Per 100 Possessions on the court, and a +1.5 off the court. So they are scoring just a tad better with him than without. But with Middleton on the court, they are gaining 10 points, and without, negative fifteen. NEGATIVE FIFTEEN!! Just think about that for a second.

So what I’m saying here is he may want out to go to a different team where he can be the star, even if Giannis leaves Milwaukee, too. Someplace like the Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, or the Cleveland Cavaliers. If he doesn’t care about being the star and how much he’d produce being the only star with supplementing roleplayers, (even though they aren’t on the starless teams, I’m thinking Malcolm Brogdon, or Duncan Robinson, and a good rebounding center like Hassan Whiteside down low to support Middleton) he could try to go to the Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, or even the Warriors or Lakers (I doubt it). Find my reasoning for those here.

Anyways, thanks for reading this, I hope you enjoyed and got some good, useful information from this text. Have a good day readers! (Cheesy Moments).
